Thankful. Grateful. Blessed. These three words have been on my heart this week. Understandably, as it’s almost Thanksgiving… A time of special traditions (I can’t wait to pull out coloring books and our mega-box of crayons with cousins!) and a time to give thanks for all the blessings in our lives.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”
1 Chronicles 16:34
We are so truly blessed, but sometimes we let the little worries and hiccups of life overshadow all the wonderful. It’s the little things – a refreshing rain yesterday – and the bigger things – my sister, Rachel, being home for a week from Texas. Why dwell on anything when I am indeed so blessed?!
He is good. Life is good. Today is GOOD!
